For the most superficial type of treatment for brightening and glow, the “3DMiracl,” most patients report minimal discomfort even without numbing. A topical numbing cream is applied in office and will minimize the discomfort with the deeper resurfacing treatments. 3DMiracl session can take as little as fifteen minutes. Deeper resurfacing treatments take around 45 minutes. Your treatment plan may target problem areas or address the entire face. UltraClear® is a highly customizable, so your session times will vary depending on the treatment plan that has been discussed with your provider.
The downtime after UltraClear® depends on the intensity of your treatment. 3DMircal has no down time and we consider this our lunch time Light resurfacing.
When used to address deeper skin issues such as acne scarring, deep lines, and restoring even skin tones, downtime client will often prefer to avoid social activities for five to seven days after a deeper treatment. You may experience redness, swelling, and sensitivity. After 7 days skin will be very pink but may be covered with makeup. You must avoid sun exposure, and use sunscreen while your skin fully heals and in the weeks to months following to preserve your wonderful results.
Many people see brighter, smoother skin after a single superficial 3dMiral treatment. Most Clients benefit from three to four treatments for optimum results. UltraClear has many modalities that increase collagen production, restore more youthful looking skin, and can last a year or more, and many people benefit from occasional maintenance treatments to keep their skin firm, even and glowing. People who have UltraClear® have less risk of post-treatment pigmentation issues or thermal damage than those who have a traditional laser resurfacing.
