People who have over-plucked their eyebrows and now are struggling to get the fullness and shape are ideal candidates. Men and women with finer and or lighter hair who are tired of having to pencil in their brows each morning.
Individuals who are prone to keloids, struggle with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and those with extremely thin skin should speak with a professional before receiving a Nanoblading treatment.
Nanoblading session run between 2-3 hours, with the first half of the appointment dominated by consultation and brow design. It’s then that the client and artist discuss everything from desired brow shape, style, and size to deciding the right pigments and shades. An assessment of the client’s skin type is also important to determine if there may be more technical skill required to achieve the end result. Before photos are taken, a special pencil is used to temporarily draw on each hair stroke for final review and approval before actually beginning the inking process. They will then outline the brow with pigment so that it isn’t removed once the numbing cream is applied. Next, they will match the pigment to your skin tone so that the Nanoblading looks flawlessly natural. Once the area has been numbed the Nanoblading handheld tattoo machine will be used to apply tiny hair-like strokes of pigment to the eyebrow area. The tiny needles on the end of the tool will feel slightly uncomfortable, especially if you decide against the numbing cream. Nanoblading is done in layers to create the most natural effect. One point to not stress over? The pain level. While tattoos, in general, are usually at least somewhat painful, the typical numbing creams used for brow tattoos mitigate that almost entirely. “Nano brows can be mildly uncomfortable but is rarely considered painful or unbearable, Strict adherence to Central Wellness aftercare is crucial for proper healing, both for your skin and the look of your new brows. Up to 3 years if post care and maintenance are managed properly—but usually 1-2 years.

Touch ups are recommended at a year to 18 months after first appointment.

Pre & Post Care

Following these instructions prior to your procedure will help ensure a more relaxes, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

  • Please eat something 20-30 min prior to your appointment
  • Avoid caffeine 2-3 hrs. prior to your appointment. Caffeine is a stimulant that will heighten your sensitivity and thin your blood which will affect your outcome.
  • If you bruise easily, we recommend taking Arnica before and after your procedure and using Alastin Inhance.
  • If you wear contacts, please wear glasses to your appointment as contacts cannot be worn for 24 hours following your procedure.
  • If you use Latisse or other like lash growth serums, please avoid application for 2 weeks, prior and post procedure.
  • If you are required to take antiviral, please lets us know in advance of your appointment and one the RN’s will call one into your pharmacy before your appointment.
  • If you are on blood thinners, if it is ok with your doctor waiting at least 24 hours before procedure. Again, please check with your doctor.
  • Avoid tanning and tanning beds for 2 weeks pre and post procedure.
  • You may request a patch test 2 weeks before the actual eyeliner appointment day.
