Dermaplaning

Remove the Fuzz
DermaPlaning Billings MT

Dermaplaning treatment is to allow a deep exfoliation of the epidermis and to aid in the cellular turnover process.

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure that removes the upper most layer of skin, smoothing the surface of the skin, increasing your product penetration with the added benefit of removing the fine vellus hairs (peach fuzz). Dermaplaning will help maintain a more youthful appearance, rejuvenate the skin, and achieve a healthy, vibrant glow.

Your dermaplaning treatment is a manual treatment done with a small hand-held blade. Dermaplaning effectively removes dead and damaged skin cells, scar tissue and debris which often leaves us looking tired, with uneven skin.

It’s a painless procedure. It has no down time. Dermaplaning can be done in conjunction with HydraFacial, chemical peel, MicroNeedling or a custom facial depending on your skincare goals.

Dermaplaning treatments start at $100 and range up to $225 depending on what the dermaplaning is paired with.

Dermaplaning works on nearly every skin type, including those with sensitive skin and or rosacea. An ideal dermaplaning candidate is someone who has vellus hair, uneven skin tone, or premature wrinkles and or scarring. Dermaplaning is not ideal for those with acne-prone skin as the fine facial hairs it removes are necessary for excreting the oils of the skin.

With Dermaplaning, you can fight back, removing the buildup, leaving the skin fresher more youthful. The result? Smoother skin reduced fine lines and wrinkles and less noticeable acne scars, with an instant impact.

Before your treatment, you’ll want to avoid acne flare-ups and sun damage as those can hurt the surface of your skin and make the treatment painful. Consult with the technician pre-treatment about your skin type, skin pigment, and the results you’re hoping for.

The results of dermaplaning will last up to 3 weeks, and the procedure can be repeated every 4 weeks. Dermaplaning works great to smooth the surface of the skin, remove dead skin cells, and build up, as well as lessen the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Dermaplaning is an amazing way to keep your skin looking youthful, even, and bright.
