Thread Lift the Non-Surgical Facelift
The Thread Lift is an FDA approved procedure which uses temporary absorbable sutures to achieve results similar to a traditional facelift without the surgery, downtime or risks.
These threads act as a scaffold to lift, contour, and smooth the skin. Threads are inserted deep into the facial tissue triggering the body’s wound healing response. As a result, the body starts to produce new bundles of collagen around each thread which in turn creates a subtle yet effective lift. While instant results are visible, optimal results are seen around 4-6 months after the treatment, when collagen has formed around the threads. Results last anywhere from 18 months to a few years and additional threads can be placed over time to maintain results.
Topical and/or local anesthetic will be used to numb the area. A small needle will be used to create a porthole for the cannula to deliver the threads. This sensation is similar to the feeling of Botox or dermal filler injections. Some possible swelling and bruising may occur but most patients report minimal discomfort both during and after the treatment.
Threads are naturally absorbable sutures inserted into the face, neck, and body. These threads are used to smooth, volumize and tighten problem areas for a more supple, youthful appearance. Our practitioners use a variety of thread lengths and sizes to treat more precisely for best results.
This scalpel-free procedure is a perfect solution for anyone seeking an instant smoothing and contouring lift. Thread lift patients see firmer, rejuvenated skin that gradually improves, thanks to its collagen boosting effects, and can last as long as 18 months. Unlike a traditional facelift, the thread lift doesn’t utilize incisions or any manipulation of the deep tissue, meaning far less downtime for patients. Some patients may see post-operative swelling and/or bruising for 1-2 days. Our highly-trained providers are happy to answer any questions you may have about the procedure itself and the results you can personally expect.
